Introducing Kererū

Introducing Kererū

We are a group of 72 Year 3 and 4 students at Wigram Primary School. We have 4 teachers who work with us in our space - Mrs Hefferman, Mr Gibson, Miss Skinner and Whaea Andrea. Our Learning Space is called Kererū and we love our new space in our brand new school.

We are excited to have blogging buddies at Yaldhurst, South Hornby, and Hornby Primary Schools. This term we are discovering how unique we all are and that we all have different strengths, likes and dislikes.

Please keep checking back to see what we are learning and discovering!

  1. Hi Kererū!

It is lovely to see a photo of the class that we are talking with. It sounds like you must be a busy classroom. We have 52 children and 2 teachers. The teachers are Miss Walters and Ms Lange. We are in our home classes for our Cluster Connections and we are excited for you to be in your new school. Do you have a school pool? How is your new classroom? Do you have a school library?

    1. Hi TM2 & Miss W
We do not have a school pool but we do have a school library.
We love our new space because there is heaps of space. It is easy to keep nice and tidy. We have two breakout rooms. We also have the tiered seating or stadium.
What do you mean by home classes? We work with all the teachers and all the kids at the same time.
